Fed: Labor ready for election at any time-Latham

Federal opposition leader MARK LATHAM says he expects the prime minister to run a divisive,
cynical election campaign.

He says LABOR'S ready to fight a poll whenever it's called.

Mr LATHAM's told radio 2UE the timing of the election's a subject of great speculation,
but it's Mr HOWARD'S decision.

He says the Labor party be advancing its positive agenda for the country during the
election campaign.

MR LATHAM says the Australian public wants solutions to long standing public problems
and that's where Labor's energy will be directed.
